Konl is aBelfast-born producer-songwriter-guitarist, with a distinctive guitar-led bedroom-funk-pop, creating toxically funky rhythms mixed with sweet, humorous songwriting.

In 2024 Konl asked me to create the single artwork for his upcoming Christmas release, ‘This Is Not A Love Song’

The brief was to create an artwork that parodied the famous ‘The Treachery of Images’ by Magritte, but replacing the pipe with a Christmas candy cane. A play on the single’s title and theme, being a non Christmas song.
